VISITING UK DANCE SIDES POLICY
Page last updated: 19/04/06
We pay neither fee nor expenses to UK dance sides to dance at our festival. Our dance displays are open and free to the public. We're non-profit making and welcome enquiries from any dancers who, like us, wish to celebrate their art in the company of others. We regularly stage over 300 dancers from more than 25 dance sides, which makes our event the largest of its kind in Wales, if not the UK.
Entrance to both ceilidhs, the Folk Club Night and workshops (but NOT the concerts) is free to all performers.
We offer free camping on-site to performers. We can also offer free indoor camping to two visiting sides. Night-time toilet facilities on site are not plentiful but exist and we can also offer hot showers in the morning and evening.
If you would like to be considered please contact us. We would be interested in your location, the style and background of your dances, information re. costume, musicians and instruments etc. and should you appear at the festival will need details of your sound requirements. See also the notes below on our recorded music policy and our ticketing policy.
