Tredegar House Folk Festival

WANT TO SUPPORT US? HERE'S HOW...

Page last updated 19/04/06

If you've enjoyed the festival and want to support it, here are some of the ways you can do so...

  • sponsorship - donation of raffle prizes, equipment or even plain old-fashioned cash
  • volunteering for the festival weekend - we need MCs; sound technicians; festival office admin; stewards; help in setting up the camp site, stages and indoor camping; selling programmes (click here for full details)
  • joining the Tredegar House Folk Festival Society
  • hosting visiting overseas performers
  • helping with specific jobs (for example, web site maintenance or publicity) at other times during the year

Sponsorship

All support is gratefully received and acknowledged both verbally (in our announcements from the stage) during the weekend and in our festival programme.

Speaking of which, you can advertise in our festival programme at very reasonable rates.

Contact us for further information.

Volunteering

We can always use an extra pair of hands and even an hour of your time will be put to good use.

Contact us if you'd like to help - or check out further details here.

Joining the THFF Society

If you'd like to show your support for the Society and become involved in its work in organising the festival see the membership page for details of how to join.

Hosting visiting overseas performers

We contribute towards visiting overseas performers' travelling costs from their point of arrival in the UK (typically their travel from an airport to Newport), but we can't afford to pay for either their main travelling costs or their performance.

Each year the international dimension of the festival is made possible by the generosity of our supporters who host these visiting performers in their own homes. It's a wonderful opportunity for both host and visitor and many lasting friendships have been made. If you'd like to offer such hospitality, please contact us for an informal chat.

See also the ticketing policy for details of the festival pass provided to hosts.
