It stayed dry this year but due to rain on the Saturday morning we moved the park stage into the marquee. Another excellent weekend's performances, including this year's overseas visitors from Italy and Euskadi (the Basque country).
Courtesy of Sue Cleaves, Terry Thomas and Pam Sage here are some pictures from the festival...
A study in concentration as a visiting clog dancer practises... | ... while her accompanist plays on happily |
City Clickers - regular supporters of the festival - kicking things off on the courtyard stage
| |
| 'Full Moon' morris dancers - also festival regulars - in the courtyard |
Andra Mari from Euskadi strutting their stuff in the marquee | The Saturday procession led by Dave Cox (sound maestro), Steve Lyons and Marcus Butler (2 of our vice-presidents) - all resplendent in Welsh cilts |
Dwy Droed Chwith Welsh clog side show off their traditional Welsh bagpipes and pibgorn in the procession... | ... while Andra Mari beat their drums behind their national flag - red, white and green, just like ours! |

Cardiff Ladies' Morris entertain the crowd in the courtyard. | Sunday's weather was much kinder. Here's the audience enjoying the performance - in the sunshine - at the courtyard stage... |

Many thanks to Sue Cleaves, Terry Thomas and Pam Sage for contributing these photos. If you have any pictures of the other performers you'd be willing to contribute to the site please contact us.
Thanks also to all the other performers - and my apologies that the demands of organising the festival prevented me capturing you all for posterity | |
