We are the largest dance festival in Britain, and space is unfortunately at a premium.
Fire regulations limit The Morgan Room to 100 people. We use the room for our festival concerts, and we want to encourage all sorts of folk cultures and different genres - but please bear this in mind before you contact us.
Our supporting artists are all drawn from local folk clubs and performers - all of whom support the festival by performing at no charge.
We welcome two Ceilidh/twmpath bands for the Friday and Saturday evenings. Throughout the festival there are all-comer music and song sessions taking place in the Brewhouse pub, music sessions in the Brewhouse courtyard and in the Real Ale Bar, which is in the cobbled courtyard right next to Newport City Council's Souvenir Shop.
